Star Trails

Star Trails is a ‘technical’ thing photographers do and I don’t fully understand it…basicaly they set up their cameras on a tripod in a dark evening, best unpolluted place (light pollution needs to be considered) and they leave the camera to capture light (in this case star light) on a long exposure. I know my explanation is not doing it much justice; on our weekend away near Lesotho border the photography boys said the sky was clean but it was too bright – we were about two days away from full moon – and she was looking beautiful and bright, but they decided to try it out anyway.

And this is the result, no words needed, never mind my bad expalnation. It’s just absolutley the most beautiful thing ever. I love it!

There is something really special about the African sky, how I love to stare at the sky…….
