I can’t wait for end of winter – firstly because I hate the cold!

Secondly I go through the winter months looking like a cockatoo (they always have the bit of hair standing up and rosy cheeks) now on a cockatoo that looks very cute. On me? I’m not so sure….

I’m not even as cute as the kid

The awful thing of looking like this is that it is always in the office; where I spend most of my time. I am fine when I get home, the minute I walk into this place I have red cheeks and my hair is … well let’s say it looks really alive.

I have tried to solve the static hair issue, but basically there is not much I can do. See this static thing happens because your hair picks up an electrical charge from the dry air  (#air cons in the office). It’s common in winter months because the air has less moisture everywhere.

Switching to a more hydrating shampoo and conditioner OR the use of a tourmaline or ionic hair dryer — they don’t suck out moisture like regular dryers can.

Thanks for that bit of useless information; I tried reading ingredients in shampoo bottles and gave up on that after bottle three and as for the hairdryer? WTF? Never heard of that!  I also blame the red cheeks on the air cons in the office (hate those things).

So putting it mildly I am really screwed as I have another one and half months of this ….
