Inspiration for the week ahead

Some weekends really end off so quickly you don’t even know if you enjoyed them or not. On Sunday evening you start preparing lunches and taking out clothes for the next morning and *sigh* at the thought of another long week that lies ahead.  Some weekends we just work like crazy around the house trying to squash a million things into two days and end off exhausted.

This weekend was a good one, I wish time had stopped a bit just to enjoy it a little more. Sabbath was awesome and Ps Denzil had me in tears, I couldn’t sing the last hymn it was impossible after his sermon.  In the afternoon I had a short and quick visit from ‘cous’ that is always good 🙂 Today I left the house at 07h30 and got back really late in the afternoon; after spending the whole day in a journalism workshop – Journalism for Jesus 101. How cool is that?! Productive day, learning new things = coming back feeling inspired for the week ahead and life in general.  And the drive home was breath-taking; soft pink clouds everywhere as the sun set and the weekend came to an end. I feel really lucky today, happy and content (minus cramps from lunch & bad combination of food) ;(

So for inspiration and motivation for the week ahead here are some special quotes ….

For the painting I’m busy with at the moment and I’ve just reached a difficult stage

Every artist was first and amateur.

For work and finding the day rushing past me and I’m left with pile of untouched work

You will never “find” time for anything. If you want time, you must make it.

For the rest of the week and whatever it holds

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.

Wishing you a fantastic new week! It’s almost spring in SA! Yeah
