My Master Weaver – My Life is but a Weaving

Difficulties and struggles we all have plenty of – Sometimes we have to wait a long time before we can see and understand the result. Sometimes we only see the bad side and not the good side at all.

It does not matter what others see or don’t see in me, they are foolish for watching silently from a distance and thinking they are better

Sometimes we need to be reminded that the master weaver (my God) is still working and we are a “work in progress”.  He’s not finished with us me yet!

My Life Is But A Weaving

-Author Corrie Ten Boom (The Tapestry Poem)

My life is but a weaving, between my Lord and me,

I do not choose the colors He worketh steadily.

Oftimes He weaveth sorrow and I in foolish pride

Forget He sees the upper and I, the underside.

Not till the loom is silent, and shuttles cease to fly

Will God unroll the canvas, and explain the reason why

The dark threads are as needful in the Weaver’s skillful hand

As are the threads of gold and silver in the patterns He has planned.
