Reason, Season or Lifetime

seasonsIt’s a sad time when you realize you’ve lost a friend or two…they are there but just not as close as they used to be. I guess they make space for the new ones, it’s part of the seasons…

Reason, Season or Lifetime.

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime When you figure out which one it is, you will know what to do for each person. When someone is in your life for a REASON it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through difficulty; to provide you with guidance and support; They may seem like a Godsend, and they are.

Then, without any wrongdoing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they will die. Sometimes they will walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realise is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.

Some people come into our lives for a SEASON, They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh, They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it. It is real – but only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; Things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person. It is said that love is blind, but friendship is clairvoyant.

It’s so nice…

 It is so nice…..

A friend is burgled – you shrug your shoulders and say; “they are rich”

A boy gets his driver’s licence first time – you remind me how my sister also got hers first time and I failed two or three times

A girl constantly being reminded how fat and stupid she is

You find out someone has cancer – and immediately the attention is on your sore back

The Twits (my friend blogged about it the other day) I remember the books, they didnt have such an impact on me but reading her blog reminded me of this nice Twit and the nice things that get said ….It’s a wonder I have any self esteem, respect or love for myself.

Matilda. I’m nothing like her, but this kind of fits in today

“I’m right and you’re wrong, I’m big and you’re small, and there’s nothing you can do about it.” _ Matilda
